Jared gives Shawn a brief history lesson on his hometown of Williamsport, PA.

Shawn is a fan of the artwork of Kevin Dart.

Jared recommends reading the current Mark Waid run on Marvel Comics Daredevil.

Shawn announces his new collaboration with friend-of-the-show, Brian John Mitchell! Jared recently competed a collaboration with Brian on a unique new comic entitled Walrus, which can be found here.

Jared's other podcast, Comic Book Pitt, lost an episode due to technical difficulties right before this week's recording. Shawn relates some times podcasts he's been part of have been lost.

Shawn put it out to the audience what we should figure out this week. Shawn Gabborin asked "If you had access to a time machine for one round trip, what would you use it for?"

On the way to an answer the guys break down the time travel differences between Back to the Future and Doctor Who.

Jared defends against the alleged inconsistencies in the continuity of the Back to the Future trilogy. Shawn is a fan of Back to the Future fan art.

Friend of the show, Nick Marino, asks if magic is real. The guys both believe in magic, but for vastly different reasons.

Shawn and Jared marvel at the work of French cartoonist, Boulet.

Jared admits his complete disdain for Christmas music which Shawn quickly turns into a Mariah Carey career retrospective.

The guys are surprised how old the Dreamlover video is.

Mariah's Heartbreaker video has Jared waxing nostalgic on the overly produced music videos of the late 90's.

Shawn has fond memories of Mariah's Fantasy video.

The whole show is almost derailed by Mariahs Honey video.

The guys then turn their attention to the trailer for tomorrow's Time of the Doctor episode of Doctor Who, Matt Smith's final episode.

Which leads into a deeper discussion on Doctor Who including some speculation on what type of Doctor Peter Capaldi will end up being.

Then the guys discuss some rather unsavory uses for candy canes.

This week features a virtual smorgasbord of conversation as Jared and Shawn bounce from topic to topic more than an off-roading bus full of ADD kids in need of their Ritalin!

 

Jared kicks off this week's conversation by discussing his repeated viewings of The Night of the Doctor and how he had to swear off all the other assorted promotional material that was released in the build up to the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode, The Day of the Doctor, in order to avoid "speculative spoilers".

 

 

 Then the guys touch on the lameness of the last season of Roseanne.

 

 

Shawn discovers a group in Russia that worship the character Gadget from Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers.

 

 

Jared is impressed with the interactivity of the new Bob Dylan video.

 

 

 

 

Shawn also shares with Jared his technique for digitally coloring his contribution to the ongoing Kickstarter project, Love + Monsters.
